Aarav meets PM Modi: Proud moment says Akshay Kumar.

Akshay Kumar’s son Aarav met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the International Fleet Review in Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. PM Modi was seen pulling Aarav’s ear in jest.

Akshay posted the picture on Twitter and called it a proud moment in his life.

“Proud moment in a father’s life, when the Prime Minister pulls your son’s ear in jest & calls him a good boy ” Akshay tweeted.

Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna quoted the tweet and said “When a picture is truly worth a thousand words.. #BigMoment”

 

Akshay Kumar to romance Esha Gupta, Ileana D'Cruz in Rustom!
Akshay Kumar has started shooting for his next film Rustomwhich is being directed by debutant Tinu Suresh Desai.

Getting an opportunity in Akshay Kumar's film right afterAirlift and that too under Neeraj Pandey's direction, sure, Ileana can not ask for more.

Rustom is a romantic thriller film which will star Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta alongside Akshay.

Rustom is jointly produced by the Zee Studios, KriArj Entertainment and Friday Filmworks Companies. "Ileana will be back in Bollywood a year-and-a-half after Raj-DK's 'Happy Ending". "He will also use prosthetics for his role", a source had informed. The actor looked every bit the character when he walked out of his vanity van on Monday afternoon. Work for the film is well underway, with Akshay and Ileana having kicked off the schedule at a suburban studio in Mumbai, with Esha joining them shortly, after which the team heads to United Kingdom to shoot the rest of the film. From what we hear, it will also have a separate London cast who will play important supporting characters in the film.

This is Akshay Kumar's third collaboration with Neeraj Pandey after Special 26 and Baby. Rustom will release onAugust 12th, 2016.

PRIYADARSHAN, AKSHAY REUNITE IN LOCK-UP.

Director-actor may team up for a Hindi remake of National Award-winning director Vetrimaaran's film.

Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran, whose second feature film, Aadukalam, bagged six National Film Awards in 2011, including the titles of best direction and best screenplay, is in Mumbai tomorrow for a screening of his latest thriller, Visaranai. The film premiered in the Orizzonti (Horizons) section of the 72nd Venice Film Festival and won the Amnesty International Italia Award.

Now, Mirror has learnt that a Hindi remake with Akshay Kumar is in the works.

Priyadarshan, who last teamed up with the Khiladi for the 2010-comic caper, Khatta Meetha, will be re-uniting with the actor for the remake. Their Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a remake of the Malayalam hit Manichitrathazhu too.

"Late last year, Priyadarshan saw Visaranai and was blown away. Two days later he called me to say it was the best film he'd seen in a decade and bought the rights. He will direct and produce the Hindi film himself," asserts Vetrimaaran.

The original was an adaptation of Lock up, a novel by M Chandrakumar, a rickshaw driver from Coimbatore. It's about police brutality, corruption and loss of innocence in the face of injustice. "It's not just a story, Chandrakumar is the face of lakhs of innocents who have faced atrocities in police lockups," Vetrimaaran signs off.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar seems to be on yet another signing spree at the moment. The actor is in talks for several films and one of them could be the sequel to the 2012 film OMG! Oh My God, featuring Paresh Rawal in the lead.

The first film, the concept of which was similar to Rajkumar Hirani’s PK, will once again feature Akshay and Paresh.

“Akshay will start shooting for the sequel early next year. All the other details, including the script, are being worked upon”

The sequel to the much-loved film will be produced by Ashvini Yarde, even though there were reports of creative difference between her and Akshay after the release of ‘Singh Is Bling’.

“All is well between them. Ashvini also wants to try her hand at TV, but Akshay doesn’t have much understanding of television. That doesn’t mean that they have split”

The source added that the story won’t be a continuation from where the first part ended, instead it will be a different story that talks about religion and other social issues.

“It will be a different story altogether. It will be a story that will talk about religion and other issues. It will be a spicy film but an eye-opener. However, this will be a fresh film and not a continuation from OMG”

Deepak Dobriyal aka Pappi Ji To Play Akshay Kumar’s Fan In ‘Yeh Kaisa Khiladi’

After enthralling the audiences with his comic sense as ‘Pappi Ji’ in Tanu Weds Manu, Deepak Dobriyal is prepping up to play Akshay Kumar’s fan in Aryeman Ramsay’s upcoming titled, ‘Yeh Kaisa Khiladi’. Talking about the film, the actor said, “My character imitates Akshay and is a Khiladi in his own way. It's going to be challenging but I'm glad to be part of it”.


He also said that he will be doing action sequences in ‘Yeh Kaisa Khiladi’. “A Khiladi film is incomplete without stunts. I will begin training with an action expert soon”, he said.


Deepak revealed that he is a great fan of Akshay Kumar. Out of all the superstars’ films, Deepak’s favourite are ‘Khiladi’, ‘International Khiladi’ and ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’. It is said that the team is in talks with Akshay to appear in a special song of the movie.
