Why Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt bio pic release was postponed

The untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani starring Ranbir Kapoor, has been hitting the headlines ever since its announcement. However, this Ranbir Kapoor starring movie, which was due to release, soon, is now scheduled to release on screen on June 29, 2018. The reason behind this is the decision of Fox Star Studios and its other release, Baaghi 2. Baaghi 2 is set to release on March 30th instead of April 21 to avoid clashing with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Since this Ranbir Kapoor starring movie was going to be released in March with another movie under the same banner, the makers decided avoid letting two of their movies clash. This Baaghi 2 was preponed with Dutt’s biopic slated to release later on.
